Our Team
Daisy Day Nursery has a superb, dedicated and carefully selected team of managers and staff who are committed to providing a safe and comfortable environment where ‘learning through play’ ensures your child’s days in nursery are happy and fun.
Our team comprises of experienced NNEB/CACHE/BTEC/NVQ qualified nursery nurses and many are mums themselves.
As well as professional childcare qualifications, the team at Daisy Day Nursery are committed to ongoing training to develop and enhance their skills and to keep up to date with the latest childcare developments. We are currently working towards the prestigious ‘Investors in People’ award.
We also have qualified First Aiders on site at all times and most of our team hold an up to date Food Hygiene Certificate and are also Health & Safety trained.
We carry out a full Criminal Record Bureau check on all our team before they join us and also during the term of their employment.
You will be introduced to the team when you join us. However, for your added convenience, photographs of every team member are on the parents’ notice board and they also wear name badges so you can identify them until you get to know them.

Abeer has run Daisy Day Nursery since 2004. As a working mum, she understands that your peace of mind is paramount to the wellbeing of your child. She is dedicated to ensuring that she and her team maintain their commitment to customer service excellence to both their big and little customers!
Operations Manager
Ceri Lynch
Ceri is also a working mum. She has been an NNEB qualified Nursery Nurse since 1999 and was the Manager of our Llanishen nursery since 2006. Ceri is now our Operations Manager and oversees the running of both nurseries whilst, at the same time is making sure our Barry nursery gets off to the best start and our high standards are implemented from the start.

Leah Dwyer
Leah has been a BTEC qualified Nursery Nurse since 2003. She was the Deputy Manager for 3 years before being promoted to Nursery Manager in 2009. She is passionate about providing and maintaining Daisy Day Nursery’s high standards to ensure the best possible care for all the children and parents.

Fern Lucas
Fern is a mum of two. She has been working with children and is NNEB qualified since 1993. Previously the senior nursery nurse in our Bumble Bees room, she is now the Deputy Manager and ensures our team of nursery nurses maintain our high standards of childcare and customer care.

As well as being operations manager, Ceri is also the manager of our Barry nursery. A working mum, Ceri has been an NNEB qualified Nursery Nurse since 1999 and was the Manager of our Llanishen nursery prior to coming over to Barry to make sure our Barry nursery gets off to the best start and our high standards are implemented from the start..
Deputy Manager
Megan Roach
Megan has been CACHE qualified since 2006 and joined the management team at Daisy Day Nursery in August 2009 in readiness for her role at our Barry nursery. She supports Ceri in ensuring our team of nursery nurses maintain our high standards of childcare and customer care.
Senior Nursery Nurse
Maria Loddo
Maria has been working with children since 2004 and gained the NVQ L4 qualification in 2009. She joined the team at our Cardiff Nursery in August 2009 in readiness for her role in Barry. Maria is very hands on and loves working with the children, closely managing the team in each room.
